Hi, I’m Andrea, and I’m a former public school teacher turned homeschooling mom to 6 crazy, but amazing, children who keep me praying for guidance, strength, and grace.

Throughout the years, my life has gone in and out of lots of different seasons. There was a time when I was a working mom, feeling guilty about not staying home. Then, one day, I found myself as a stay-at-home mom feeling guilty about not financially contributing to the family. I had to learn to focus on what I was grateful for, and that helped put everything into perspective for me. I’d love to help other moms see and embrace the role that God has called them to live.

I’m pretty good about openly sharing the realness of family life, sometimes with humor, sometimes with tear-jerking honesty. I think this honesty is foundational in building relationships with other moms. Some of these relationships have endured decades of friendship and yet others, a short lived, 5 minute mom connection at the mall playground is enough to provide inspiration, encouragement, or motivation to keep momming my way.
